It is a very minimalistic pistol which has been smartly designed to meet the needs of a significant number of customers. Weight and size are near perfect for CCW and barrel
length is (barely) enough just for accuracy and speed.
Gun parameters are well chosen, but it looks kind of ugly and lacks safety features.

For it shooting a .45 ACP round it shoots very smooth, I went to the range a couple times with and the couple of times that I went with it, it’s very smooth little to no jams or malfunctions. I shot it single handedly and both hands. It’s smooth and very satisfying to shoot. And a very excellent choice to conceal carry. 9.5/10! Recommended!!

I swore I’d never buy a Glock, but after trying one at the range I decided my snobbishness (I’m old school. If John Browning didn’t have a hand in its design, I was a hard no) was keeping me from trying new things. I bought the 30 because it’s .45 caliber. Here are my thoughts after 100 rounds:
It’s a tank
It’s reliable, no jams in my first 100 rounds
Recoil is hard, but manageable. Considering its smaller frame, it’s quite good.
I’m still getting used to the sites, which, for me, shoot low.
Interesting discovery. At close ranges (inside 10 feet) I got better results by ignoring the sites and just looking out over that delightful boxy frame. It points very well and hits where you look.
I’d highly recommend the Glock 30 if you want a large caliber defensive handgun. It comes with two ten round magazines.

The Cabela’s guys told me the finish on the gen3 Glocks is always scratched up. When I picked it up new. I found out it’s not true. They lied and sold me a showroom gun. Not happy at all.

I own 3 Glock pistols, G30, G19, G43. I think Glock makes a great pistol. I use the G30, as an everyday carry, very comfortable, l use a Bianchi iWB, holster. With the G21, 13 rnd magazine, the G30 becomes a very effective everyday carry. I also own a S&W 1911, have a Kimber Ultra Carry ll, but I love the feel of a reliable .45acp, that has the power to stop whatever the threat.

I have owned several guns over the years and many I still have while some I have sold because I just did not like them. This Glock 30 however is a jaw dropper. Accurate out of the box and just will not jam! easy to carry and easy to maintain. Super high quality and knock down power of a 45. I like this gun even over my Sig p220 45.

I carry a Glock 21 on duty. I will NOT carry anything else. Off duty, my Model 30 is my Golden Girl. I do not leave the house without it. I’ve shot the Louisiana State Police course several times with it. Excelent score every time. Tough, dependable, reliable and deadly accurate!!! What else is there?
