1997 I test fired my first Glock 17 Gen 3. I was hooked for life. Purchase one brand new that same day. Ten years later I purchased a Glock 26 Gen 3 for my EDC. Since then a few years ago I purchased another 26 Gen three for a clearance price during the Christmas holidays. I figured I needed to finish off buy purchasing a Glock 19 Gen 3. They are all vey reliable and you can use any type of ammunition and they will eat ‘em up no problem. Cleaning is very simple even if needed to be done in the field. I feel hands down Glocks are the AK of hand guns.

For my 21st birthday several years ago, I was given a Gen 2 Glock 19. Nothing fancy, just a 9mm mid size handgun that was pretty plain. That was my first thoughts back in 1999. 13 years later, that same Glock 19 is still being carried, shot and used every day. This was my first Glock I had ever owned. I knew right then, I had to have more and this “disease” would never end. The Glock 19 is probably the most favored Glock next to its counterpart, the Glock 17. Midsized gun holding 15 plus 1 rounds of ammo, in a small narrow frame, is very hard to beat. Small framed men and women love this Glock. Very light manageable recoil even with the most powerful loads. 15 rounds in a weapon that is not commonly carried as a duty weapon is very pleasing. This weapon is thin enough to be carried inside the waistband and not be seen. Its a bit to large to carry on your ankle though. I have used my Glock 19 in IPDA and USPSA competitions. As a competition weapon, it excels well due to the light trigger, magazine capacity and ease of operation. The Glock 19 is a very versatile weapon. Carry, home defense, duty or just as a shooter, you cant go wrong with the Glock 19.

Gen 3 feels a little short in the hand but is a great value. I’d recommend this pistol to anyone

Came highly recommended as a simple reliable firearm. Will be considering getting a CCW with it. You can also get 22lr conversation kits with them to get better practice before the 9mm or 40. I am impressed with its current performance.

I like all Glocks but the gen 5 has a different trigger unlike the previous 2 generations. I am still deciding whether or not to swap out the trigger.

Awesome Glock. Great Round Capacity and very well balanced. Also the Trigger Rest is very short. Crisp Trigger but I did install an Apex Upgrade Trigger anyway. Just what I like…
